Associate/ Senior Quantity Surveyor Commercial Property Educational Residential Leisure Health Care Flexibility Hybrid Working Clear Route for Progression Opportunity for a talented Senior/ Associate Quantity Surveyor to join our clients Quantity Surveying team that specializes in the provision of early cost advice using their internal databases, whole life costings, cost management of net zero carbon/ decarbonisation programmes, specialist mechanical and electrical cost management as well as the design and implementation of innovative procurement strategies. The Company They are a multidiscipline Property and Construction Consultancy who help their clients create better, more sustainable places for people to live, learn and work. They offer a partner-led approach with their people working worldwide from multiple locations across the UK. The Role The successful Associate/ Senior Quantity Surveyor for this job will be proactive and a creative cost manager. Associate/ Senior Quantity Surveyor for this job will be able to lead and manage their own projects with autonomy, to deliver a service to be proud of. Working as a key member of the cost management team the Senior/Associate Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for a wide range of services: Driving of projects pre contract including evaluation/ preparation of costs and Benchmarking data Provide advice on contract arrangements and conditions under which building will be constructed Advise on creative procurement strategies Manage the costs of projects during the construction stage and negotiate final accounts Lead from the front as regards to client facing meetings, dealing with multi-disciplined teams and project delivery Attend Client facing meetings and developing long lasting relationships Desired Skills MRICS (or working towards this qualification in next 12 months) Ability to use your own initiative as well as confidence and excellent communication skills Commercial awareness and willingness to coach and mentor junior staff Leadership skills to drive projects to a successful conclusion Interested in using computers for measurement, calculations, and testing designs NEC 4 and JCT contract administration Your Reward 25 days of paid annual leave, increasing with length of service 4 x salary life assurance cover Generous company sick pay scheme Income Protection Insurance in case you are unable to work due to ill health or accident for an extended period Single cover private medical insurance, which can be extended to include family members at preferential rates A contributory company pension plan Flexible company car scheme
