GENERAL MANAGER COUNTRYSIDE HOLIDAY PARK LUXURY HOLIDAY HOME VENUE BASED NEAR HEXHAM £40,000 STARTING SALARY + ON-SITE 3-BED ACCOMMODATION + COMMISSION + BONUS & BENEFITS Leisure Solutions specialise in the recruitment of Leisure and Hospitality professionals across the UK, working with a range of businesses to attract the right people, helping businesses thrive and improving lives. Because of an unexpected last-minute cancellation, we are re-advertising this General Manager role to take on the day-to-day management of this exclusive, premium holiday park, set in an idyllic location in the North Pennines. Covering over 15 acres, with a capacity for 100 static vans and an additional 30+ premium lodges, this is a fully encompassing management role. Working directly for the owner, you will be directly responsible for all aspects of the Holiday Park operation, which includes (but not limited to): Liaising directly with Lodge owners, dealing with queries, and resolving any complaints Overseeing the operational processes of the park, including all housekeeping, maintenance and smooth running of the Park Clubhouse and other facilities Supporting the caravan sales, providing leadership, guidance and where required supervising the sales process Working with third-party suppliers and ensuring control over all deliveries from suppliers Training and developing the service standards of the business Forging good relationships with all stakeholders and employees Controlling the budgets and ensuring control of all P&L requirements This is a great opportunity for someone looking to step up into a General Manager role or someone looking to move to a premium establishment offering a remote getaway to nature style business, where guests and owners come to unwind, relax, and enjoy the quiet, tranquil environment. We are looking for an individual primarily service focussed who can engage and work with members of the team and support and communicate well with lodge owners and holiday makers. Whilst there is an element of sales involved in the role, our primary focus is to engage the right character who is used to dealing with premium owners and able to maintain good relationships with all parties in the business, ideally you will have: Management experience, ideally within a leisure or Holiday Park environment Hands-on approach to achieving success and willing to delegate or personally complete required tasks Able to build strong relationships with your team, leading by example Well organised and structured, able to organise your day and ensure all duties are completed Able to report directly with the owner, providing honest feedback and providing solutions to resolve issues In return for your service, the company is offering: Basic Salary starting at circa £40,000 Bonus structure On-site accommodation consisting of a 3-bedded management cottage If this position is of interest and you would like more information, please provide a current CV along with your application.
