Description

NHS HR Advisor Band 5:

PLEASE NOTE THE ROLE IS TEMPORARY FOR AN IMMEDIATE START.

COMPLIANCE WILL BE NEEDED FOR THE ROLE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, A DBS, TRAINING AND REFERENCES.

  • To provide managers and staff with professional, comprehensive and timely Human Resources advice and support.
  • To ensure that "every conversation is a coaching conversation".
  • To support and advise managers on employee relations casework as delegated by the Divisional HR Manager.
  • Work with the Head of Workforce Relations to ensure a reduction in sickness absence levels and improved attendance.
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of sickness absence management.
  • Working closely with managers, determine both short-term and long-term strategies on how to effectively manage their employee relations issues.

Profile

NHS HR Advisor Band 5:

  • Knowledge of HR procedures
  • Able to manage employee relation cases
  • Able to work with managers to determine strategies
  • Knowledge of the ESR system
  • Previous HR Advisor/Employee Relations role in the NHS / Healthcare setting
  • Excellent communicator
