Company: Finning (UK) Ltd Number of Openings: 1 Worker Type: Permanent Position Overview: To provide a service to all departments within the Cannock facility in regards of machine movements, crane lifts, mobile crane lifts, lift truck movements all carried out in a safe manner. Loading of machines on to transport, unloading of machines, stock receipt and stock location Job Description: Major Job Functions: Carry out machine movements on and off transporter vehicles using the most appropriate tools/equipment, that could include slinging, forklift truck, cranage, etc (25%) Record all movement details of all machines and attachments on/off site and ensure that a release document (MRA) is obtained/completed before the equipment leaves site. Ensure shipping note accuracy (5%) Ensure all stock machines and attachments are clearly located in the relevant zone and marked with all relevant information as to create greater visibility for all Cannock users. (5%) Ensure machines have the correct levels of Fuel and Adblue prior to locating. If levels are low, it is your responsibility to top machine up (10%) Control all lifts within the Cannock facility making sure that all lift plans are in place. Responsibility to ensure all lifting equipment is in a safe and operational state (10%) Preliminary assessment of machine condition, reporting any damage or missing items through the appropriate channels. Utilise CAT Inspect to record machine condition (10%) Ensure all machine movements on site are carried out in a safe and appropriate manner, following the machine movement procedure guidelines (10%) Machine movements are managed and prioritise through the machine movement request schedule. Ensuring all requests are processed in a timely manner (25%)Competencies: Customer Focus: Being successful means continuously paying attention to customer needs and adapting as these evolve.
